We are so excited to be marking the start of warmer weather and longer days with our new Summer '19 collection. Inspired by travels to South Asia taken by L&M Home founder, Anna Lofts, this season we are embracing global style.
Seeking out pieces with stories, colours, and textures influenced by beautiful cultures around the world has always been at the heart of L&M Home. Read on to discover the inspiration and narrative behind our latest range.
"On a recent trip to Sri Lanka, I took in the works of Geoffrey Bawa, the father of modern Asian architecture, and was instantly inspired by what I saw. He was the force behind a local evolution of international style, and I was drawn to the easy connection he created between inside and out." - Anna Lofts, L&M Home founder
You'll spot the eastern influence in our brushed iron Croft tables, organic textured Kiln vases and Lombok/Java trays with woven details.
We've also expanded our table linen range this season to include several new block prints. Keeping in mind Bawa's philosophy of bringing the outdoors in, our table linen references nature, with organic floral designs, while remaining sophisticated and refined. Considering your love for linen, Montalto is our new relaxed linen-cotton tablecloth and napkin range with contrasting trim.
Summer '19 sees the introduction of earthy ochres, striking corals, blush pinks and punchy blues to celebrate warm seasonal tones and current global design trends. The result, we hope you'll agree, is a collection that embraces colour and is anchored by a sense of harmony and tranquillity.
