3 Creative Ways to Gift Wrap

December 12, 2016

1 / Get the paints out

You don't have to be an artist to create some beautiful abstract painted packaging. Find some plain white or brown paper to paint simple stripes, dashes, splatters, or dots in your favourite colour scheme. Go the extra mile and produce some co-ordinating tags too!

2 / Stamp your mark

Recall your childhood days and carve a stamp from a raw potato. Keep the shape simple and the markings will give a beautiful handmade effect. Alternatively, collect interestingly shaped leaves to press into ink/paint and stamp onto paper.

3/ Go gathering

There are few things better than brown paper packages tied up with string. For this natural look, use brown parcel paper, twine, luggage tags, and lastly add a sprig of greenery such as eucalyptus or fir. This is a beautifully stylish option that costs very little time or money!
