Wedding season in Australia is fast approaching and, for a couple planning their big day, this means putting the finishing touches to the decor plans. Transport your guests straight to the olive groves of Italy with blue and white floral table linen, hand woven placemats, and olive leaves running down the centre of the table. Fresh lemons dotted through the olive garlands add a zesty touch of colour to this beautiful Mediterranean look.
Dreamy blush tones are grounded with natural textures and tones for a truly romantic table. The natural coloured linen contrasts beautifully with soft blushes, while oversized dried florals and grasses bring some drama. Add elements of copper or rose gold through cutlery or candleholders for a touch of luxe.
There is nothing chicer than soft white linen with fresh foliage and florals. The Mona Vases modernise the table with their bold silhouettes and varying heights. Try mixing romantic roses with native eucalyptus and wattle for a timeless and elegant wedding theme.
Where have you found inspiration for your wedding day?
My bridesmaid bought me the alternative bridal magazine "Hello May" which has beautiful photography and real bride stories. This gave me some great ideas and style inspiration to start making my Pinterest board.
How did you start the planning process for the styling of your wedding?
I started with the Pantone book and choose a palette to be the inspiration for the florals, stationary and decor. After deciding on a strong theme, it was then easy to find suppliers on Instagram and get the ball rolling.
Which is your favourite of our three wedding looks?
I love the natural texture of the Moss linen. This look is very pretty and relaxed and the textual elements and layering really set the mood. This would look so beautiful at night with the candles burning - the perfect backdrop for a fun wedding.
What has been your most enjoyable part of the planning so far?
Styling a wedding and sourcing unique suppliers has been so much fun. Your own wedding is something you imagine for a long time and it's so nice to plan the day you have always dreamed of. I cannot wait to see it all come together and celebrate with family and friends!
